Position: Temp - Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg (Nights) Saginaw MI
Preparing, administering and recording prescribed medications. Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs. Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interpreting and recording measurements. Monitoring patients' vitals and reporting adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.
Requirement description :
Travelers for this position need to be okay floating between 2 My Michigan hospitals in Midland and in Saginaw (32 miles apart.) The location being applied for will be the main assigned site, but may be asked to float to the other hospital for critical staffing support. The intention from My Michigan is that they will not float at all.

• 2+ years of experience
  - Required
• Med/Surg Observation experience - Required
• General Med/Surg (Oncology, Obs, Hospice, Medical & Surgical Patients)
• Recent traveler experience - highly preferred
• ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION (Facility will NOT approve scheduling requests at/after time of offer / Please obtain this information prior to submittal / Requests after offer can be cause for rescinded offer)

Profile Requirements:

• Work History
• Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty
• 2 Supervisory Reference Forms, taken within the last two years
• Licensure & Certifications (MI State License/Lara & BLS - AHA)
• Candidates' Permanent Address (Facility will consider local candidates - 50 mile radius restriction, for ONLY 1-13week contract)

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

• BLS (AHA)
