Description:

This position performs a variety of integrated functions while applying a broad nursing knowledge in a caring and concerned manner.

Responsibilities include assessing patients for physical, emotional, psychosocial, and family support.

The position requires organizing and coordinating all aspects of patient care according to the patients' real and/or perceived needs.

Evaluating patient progress by correlating patient information with nursing knowledge to determine if goals are being met according to the patient's plan of care or clinical path is essential.

Consultation and collaboration with members of the health care team in planning and implementing total patient care for individuals is a key responsibility.
