Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist

Job Overview

TNAA Total Med Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Saginaw, Michigan. The role offers 40 hours per week with 8‑hour daytime shifts and is categorized as a travel position.

• Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians with minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures.
• Prepare and observe patients undergoing procedures and report abnormal activity.
• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients.
• Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Monitor patients throughout all procedures.
• Apply rigorous radiation protection standards to safeguard patients and staff.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of physiology and anatomy pertinent to interventional radiology.
• Operate intravenous (IV) and dye injector pumps.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Use the McKesson PACS system.

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute‑care experience.
• Board certification or eligibility (BLS, ACLS) and ARRT (R) National Certification; state‑specific licensing required.
• Vascular Interventional certificate preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for extended periods.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
