Work is fast paced and challenging. Positions often require travel to multiple local clients per day, and working occasional long hours when necessary.
Job DescriptionThis is an intermediate level position requiring comprehensive knowledge of computer networking, repair, testing, and troubleshooting. Analyze, plan, design, and install new personal computer systems. Review, monitor and upgrade existing personal computer systems. Determine user specifications for hardware and software. Install new, and maintain existing, hardware and software. Respond to inquiries and requests for assistance on client computer systems or PCs.
Investigate and identify problems, troubleshoot and provide advice to assist clients. Coordinate with others to resolve problems as necessary. May operate in a mainframe and/or microcomputer environment. Provide on-site and remote support to contract clients. Research new technologies, build test lab mock ups, build possible client solutions, work on long-term client projects, VPN Wide Area Network and Third party-application deployments.
Identify and perform communication system connection repairs.
- Possess solid knowledge of Windows and Linux based applications and operating systems
- Install/troubleshoot/repair computer hardware, networking, applications and low voltage wiring
- Knowledge of Microsoft, Linux, Database, Exchange, Communications, and scripting are a plus
- Document work performed daily
- Perform other tasks as needed
- Ability to work safely and efficiently
- Reliable transportation and some travel as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $24,960.00 - $46,783.00 per year
