Tire & Battery Technician - Automotive

Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department and deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations.

• Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educating other associates on tools, tasks, resources and mentoring new technicians.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications and seasonality.
• Leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience and elevate associate engagement, utilizing handheld technology and systems.
• Communicate equipment, tools and supplies needs to TBC Lead; track and monitor returns and special orders; operate cash registers, process transactions;
• Maintain accurate inventory, audit safety and compliance standards, report TBC complaints, safety hazards and problems with products, services and work areas.
• Ensure merchandise is packaged, labeled and stored in accordance with company policies; assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues.
• Act as a brand advocate, developing, influencing and inspiring others, providing training and fostering a respectful, supportive, team‑oriented environment.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, ethics and integrity; implement action plans and use the Open Door Policy.
• Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers and other partners to identify and meet deadlines.
• Promote an inclusive workplace, building strong relationships and supporting colleague development.

The hourly wage range for this position is $20.50 to $28.50. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation may be paid in the form of premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.

• Valid State‑issued Driver’s License.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Auto service industry experience.
• Retail experience.
