Position Overview

Herbert Roofing, a well-established roofing contractor serving Mid-Michigan, is seeking a results-driven Sales & Marketing Director to lead the strategy, execution, and performance of our revenue-generating functions. This high-impact leadership role oversees both sales and marketing, aligning the team with our long-term growth goals. We operate using the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System), fostering clear communication, measurable goals, and scalable systems across the company.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making, strategic planning, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and hold accountable a high-performing sales and marketing team
• Develop and execute strategic plans that drive revenue, market share, and brand growth
• Manage and optimize CRM systems; track KPIs, forecasts, and sales metrics
• Participate in weekly Level 10 EOS meetings and contribute to quarterly and annual business planning
• Align sales and marketing strategies with the EOS Vision/Traction Organizer (V/TO)
• Promote collaboration across departments to ensure consistent messaging and customer experience
• Represent the company at local events, community engagements, and industry functions as needed

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Sales and/or Marketing Director role, preferably in roofing, construction, or a similar industry
• Strong leadership experience with a passion for mentoring and growing teams
• Demonstrated success in business development and revenue generation
• Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills
• High personal integrity and alignment with Herbert Roofing’s core values
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally

Additional Skills & Preferences

• Strong Understanding of Local Market Dynamics:
  Familiarity with the Mid-Michigan and Saginaw construction/housing market
• Reporting and Analytics:
  Ability to generate, interpret, and act on sales and marketing data using dashboards and reports
• Budgeting & Forecasting:
  Experience creating and managing departmental budgets and revenue projections
• Time Management & Prioritization:
  Skilled at managing resources across multiple projects and channels
