Plant Manager

Movement Search & Delivery is working with company that is a global supplier of advanced technology components to the automotive, aerospace, and defense markets to identify and evaluate a Plant Manager. This is a direct hire position and it is based around Saginaw/Bay City area.

This Sr.

-level position will partner with the leadership team in translating business strategy into action that drives business results for this key location.

• -Participate as lead staff member responsible for operation and performance of entire operation
• -Lead multi-disciplined plant team in meeting monthly forecasts and appropriate business metric
• -Develop strategic manufacturing direction and planning for 1-3 year planning horizon
• -Direct preparation of operational budgets and coordinates capital plans, appropriation requests, and project follow up
• -Accountable for leading manufacturing, environment, health & safety, engineering, quality, human resources, and finance to achieve business objectives
• -Manage the day-to-day activities of the manufacturing process
• -Analyze and implement process flow, inventory and velocity improvements

• * 3+ years experience as a Plant Manager and/or Operations Manager
• * Experience in a foundry environment (forging, casting, and/or heat treat)
• * Experience in the aerospace and/or defense industries is a plus
