CNC Programmer

This position requires the individual to create, approve, edit and qualify CNC programs for use on metal cutting equipment (lathe, 3,4, & 5 axis machining centers & multi-axis turning), develop detailed work illustration instructions and configurations using Siemens Unigraphics 3D NX CAD software.

Must have knowledge and machine programming skills to create programs using Esprit CAD-CAM software with machine simulation and post processers. Must be capable of creating CNC programs to machine 4-6 axis positional moves cutting complex aerospace part configurations in forgings and bars made of specialty metals. This individual must have the ability to specify, recommend and purchase perishable tooling and work holding.

Must have an excellent understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T tolerances along with very good math and reasoning skills. Please give detailed knowledge and experience on these when applying.
