Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with Michigan licensure and Level 2 trauma experience.
Responsibilities- Work in the Operating Room of a Level 2 trauma hospital
- Cases include Ortho, Vascular, Neuro, Gen/Gyn, and Urology procedures
- No on-call or weekend requirements unless the shift falls on a holiday
- Local candidates within a 50 mile radius are eligible for one 13-week contract
- Must be able to handle a wide range of surgical specialties independently
- Holiday coverage may be required if scheduled
- No more than 5 days of requested time off will be considered
- All scheduling requests must be made prior to contract offer
- Local travelers may only complete one travel assignment
- Active MI RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of RN Operating Room experience
- Level 2 trauma experience required
- Proficiency in Ortho, Vascular, Neuro, Gen/Gyn, and Urology cases
- Recent travel nurse experience highly preferred
