We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Admissions / Wound Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team in Saginaw, MI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient admissions and providing expert wound care to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments during the admissions process, including medical history, physical examination, and wound evaluation.
• Develop and implement individualized wound care plans based on best practices and patient needs.
• Monitor and document wound progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on wound care management and prevention strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility standards related to admissions and wound care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient medical records.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff education related to wound care and admissions processes.

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
• Proven experience in wound care nursing and patient admissions preferred.
• Certification in wound care (e.g., Wound Care Certified - WCC) is highly desirable.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) and documentation.
