Summary
Up to 14K sign on bonus for qualified candidates. Works under the supervision of the Med‑Surg Nurse Manager. The Staff RN assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and supervises individual patient care on the nursing unit according to established policies, procedures and guidelines. Accepts responsibility for the direction of co‑workers in the implementation of the patients plan of care. Performs other duties as assigned.

- Associate's degree in nursing is required;
Bachelor's degree preferred. (Essential: true)
- Two years general Medical‑Surgical/Charge Nurse experience required.
- Good basic clinical skills in delivering care in an acute care facility.
- Good interpersonal skills in dealing with patients, families and co‑workers.
Exposure to stressful situations, including public contact, trauma, grief and death.
Able to wear personal protective equipment that includes latex materials or an appropriate substitute if required for your position.
Can move freely around the facility with or without an assisted device and must be able to perform the functions of the job as outlined in the job description.
Overall vision and hearing necessary, with or without assisted devices.
Frequently required to sit, stand or walk for long periods; may require frequent postural changes such as stooping, kneeling or crouching.
Some exposure to blood‑borne pathogens and other potentially infectious material; must follow My Michigan Health blood borne pathogen and TB testing as required.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, work independently, maintain regular attendance and stay awake.
Overall dexterity is required, including handling, reaching, grasping, fingering and feeling; repeated movements may be required regularly.
Physical Demand Level: Medium. Must be able to occasionally (0–33% of the workday) lift or carry 21–50 lbs.; frequently (34–66%) 20 lbs.; constantly (67–100%) 10 lbs.
Equivalence Experience and Other Comments (Education)- Associate's degree in nursing is required;
