Roles & Responsibilities   Assess patients holistically — physical, emotional, psychosocial and family support needs
Organize and coordinate all aspects of patient care using the nursing process
Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans to help patients meet their goals
Consult and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to implement total patient care
Monitor telemetry and tele-cardiac data closely and respond quickly to changes
Document care accurately and efficiently in Epic to keep the care team aligned
Educate patients and families to support recovery and discharge planning
Qualifications   Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license (LARA and/or Nursys verification required)
Minimum 2 years of RN experience — TELE CARDIAC experience required
Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
Recent traveler experience highly preferred
Completed Skills Checklist (current to 1 year) relevant to Telemetry (required)
Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years (required)
Complete work history and ability to meet facility submission/scheduling requirements
Knowledge & Skills   Telemetry and Tele Cardiac monitoring expertise
Strong patient assessment and patient evaluation skills
Care coordination and interdisciplinary collaboration
Solid command of the nursing process and clinical documentation
Proficiency with Epic electronic medical record
Critical thinking, rapid clinical decision-making, and clear communication
