• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:15 AM) — Night Shift RN, Med/Surg RN
• Hours per Week: 36 (Guaranteed)
• Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday required
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,800–$1,890/week

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan — Michigan RN required
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience (medical-surgical nursing, observation experience)
• Med/Surg Observation experience
• Skills checklist for Med/Surg (completed within the past year)
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
• Ability to work every other weekend and holiday as scheduled

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care according to established policies and procedures — strong clinical assessment skills required
• Document nursing assessments and care plans accurately in patient charts (EMR/charting proficiency helpful)
• Develop and update patient care plans based on ongoing assessments and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Oversee and delegate aspects of patient care to unit staff as appropriate — leadership and teamwork in a fast-paced Med/Surg setting
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population including oncology, observation, hospice, and general medical/surgical patients
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff, following infection control and safety protocols
