Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for a 13-week travel assignment in Saginaw, MI.
- Nights 7p-7:15a / 36 Hours Guaranteed / Will float to other PCU/Med Surg floors if needed

- Contract: 13 weeks

- Hourly Pay: $28.00
- Non-taxed Stipend: $1197.00
- Weekly Total Pay: $1953.00
- Patient Ratio: 1:4/5 (Target) to 1:6
The Registered Nurse provides direct care to patients using the nursing process. This includes ongoing assessment of the total patient. The RN provides interventions to treat the presenting symptoms and evaluates the effect of nursing interventions and patient's responses. The RN functions as a team leader/member and resource to others. The RN delegates, oversees and provides direction to support staff. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to establish goals and outcomes for each patient.
The RN is responsible for meeting the needs of all types of patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- (40%) Regularly assesses patient’s needs and provides skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physician's authorized plan of care and accepted standards of evidence-based nursing practice.
- (30%) Provides direct patient care including medication administration, treatments, education, call lights, assisting with transfers, responding to alarms, and other duties as appropriate.
- (20%) Evaluates effectiveness of treatment plan and makes suggestions or participates in updating/revising the treatment plan in collaboration with other team members, utilizing current information to improve patient care.
- (10%) The RN is knowledgeable and compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines as well as hospital specific policies and procedures relating to care provided in the medical center.
Compensation:
- Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)
- Pay package details provided upon offer
- Must have 2+ years of experience
- Must have Neuro PCU Experience
- Recent Travel Work History highly preferred
- Must have BLS certification
- Active American Heart Association ACLS is required
- Active NIHSS Certification is required
- Must have a valid Michigan State License.
