Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical (Nights)

Saginaw, MI

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and document findings accurately in the patient chart
• Develop, implement, and update individualized plans of care based on ongoing patient assessment
• Evaluate patient responses to care and adjust the plan of care accordingly
• Oversee and delegate specific components of the patient plan of care to unit staff
• Provide nursing care for a general Med/Surg patient population including oncology, observation, hospice, and medical and surgical patients
• Work under the supervision of the Med/Surg Nurse Manager and perform other duties as assigned

• Active Michigan RN license (verified Active status via LARA and/or Nursys)
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Med/Surg Observation experience
• Current Skills Checklist (within the past year) pertinent to Medical Surgical specialty
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years

• Experience with oncology, hospice, or surgical patient populations
• Familiarity with electronic health record documentation in an acute care setting
