Position: Travel Tech Retail Display Installer – Up to 90mi

Retail Display Installer – Technology

Location: Travel up to 90 miles from home, on average.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, weekends are not required. Paid drive time and mileage reimbursement.

Role

2020 Companies seeks a reliable, detail‑oriented, and self‑motivated Field Service Representative to represent leading brands such as Dell, Intel, Dyson, Google, and HP. The role involves installing and updating sales floor fixtures, performing buildouts, resets, and display repairs, and following plan‑ograms and client‑specific directives. You will work independently, meet deadlines, and use mobile applications to complete assignments efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to field services management and maintain communication within 24 hours.
  • Keep availability updated accurately.
  • Complete all assigned jobs on or before scheduled end dates.
  • Install and build displays, end caps, and fixtures.
  • Complete necessary forms, images, and surveys before leaving each job site.
  • Maintain and update displays according to planograms and client requests.
  • Perform break‑fix repairs to keep displays and fixtures functional.
  • Participate in early‑morning installations and team installations involving 2+ people.
  • Manage virtual software and ensure successful execution of related tasks and timelines.
  • Assist team members as needed.
  • Adhere to timelines for accurate timecard submission and report anomalies daily.
  • Work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Participate in training and certification programs.
  • Track, record, and communicate activity via designated systems and workflows.
  • Be available for weekend assignments as needed.
Scheduling / Planning
  • Hours and locations may vary week to week, including occasional weekends and early mornings.
  • Accept and schedule all assigned jobs within 48 hours of receipt.
Project Execution
  • Follow all directives to full completion.
  • Collaborate with the shared services team to achieve goals, identify improvement opportunities, and drive solutions for operational efficiencies.
Relationship Development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within the shared services team, local and regional markets, clients, retailers, and stakeholders.
  • Foster collaboration and communication across internal teams and external partners.
Leadership & Cross‑functional Work
  • Demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, and strong leadership while representing the company.
  • Set a high standard for behavior and ensure transparent, respectful communication with all team members.
  • Work across company functions to ensure alignment and operational success.
Customer & Client Satisfaction
  • Ensure customer and client satisfaction meets or exceeds shared‑service field KPIs determined by field management.
  • Be open to providing and receiving feedback.
Qualifications Age / Eligibility
  • Must be 18 or older (insurance requirement).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Availability
  • Flexible availability Monday through Friday.
  • Weekend and holiday availability as needed.
  • Early morning and late‑night availability as needed.
  • Maintain a minimum of 20 hours of fieldwork within a rolling 30‑day period.
Physical Abilities
  • Climb a ladder up to 10 feet.
  • Safely lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
  • Able to kneel, walk, crouch, bend over, reach overhead, and handle or grasp items.
Adaptability
  • Adjust to varied tasks and work environments.
Communication Skills
  • Effective communication via phone, text, and email.
  • Use a smartphone for clocking in/out, uploading photos, downloading applications, and internet connectivity.
  • Respond promptly to field services management (usually within 24 hours).
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent typically required.
  • Previous retail or merchandising experience beneficial but not mandatory.
