Sales Associate

We are seeking energetic, customer‑focused part‑time Sales Associates to join our team. The role involves delivering excellent service, driving sales, and maintaining a well‑organized store environment.

• Greet and assist customers promptly, handling multiple customers efficiently.
• Understand and meet customer needs through product knowledge, answering questions, and offering recommendations.
• Engage in suggestive selling and stay informed on product availability.
• Promote store events, promotions, and special activities to enhance the shopping experience.
• Resolve customer concerns, offering alternative solutions and turning returns into exchanges when possible.
• Communicate needs to management regarding restocking, service requirements, and customer feedback.
• Support the team to achieve overall store and company objectives, fostering a positive work environment.

• Minimum age of 16 years.
• Availability for flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekends, and occasional overnight shifts.
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology such as cash registers, hand‑held and mobile devices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage customers respectfully and professionally.
• Basic information‑gathering and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to learn procedural knowledge through on‑the‑job training.

• Operate cash register frequently.
• Move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place/remove items up to 5‑10ft high.
• Ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and store stock.
• Position oneself to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop in stock rooms and on the sales floor.
• Communicate and exchange accurate information with customers via telephone and face‑to‑face interactions.
• Assist customers across the sales floor and between the sales floor and stock room.
• Identify and follow email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, schedules, and SOPs.
• Remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time.

Hourly position starting at $13.73.
