Position SummaryAssist customers and members with membership decisions, sales, and overall store experience at Sam’s Club in Saginaw. Maintain the gas station/carfax area and support daily store operations while promoting company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities- Communicate and explain membership types, programs, and benefits to current and prospective members to assist with account decisions, build membership levels, and encourage renewals.
- Communicate credit‑card program types and application processes and promote the value of Sam’s Club products and services.
- Provide customer/member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products while maintaining a safe environment.
- Maintain the gas station and car‑wash area, cleaning and organizing the space, ensuring accurate pricing signage, and handling claims and returns in accordance with company policy.
- Arrange, organize, and identify merchandise supplies, detect shrink and damages, and maintain a safe work environment.
- Receive and stock merchandise supplies from distribution centers and suppliers, organize the facility, and complete required paperwork logs and documentation.
- Operate equipment such as cash registers and related tools to process customer purchases using appropriate procedures for different payment types and items sold.
- Operate and maintain gas station/car‑wash area equipment, providing products and services to customers in accordance with company policies.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Hourly wage range: $17.50 to $25.50. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances such as schedule, facility, season or specific work performed; multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
