Technology Specialist – Shoulder Arthroplasty

Territory:
Saginaw Area

Arthrex Grand Rapids is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Technology Specialist to support and grow our Shoulder Arthroplasty business in the Saginaw area. This role is responsible for developing strong customer relationships, achieving sales objectives, providing clinical support in the operating room, and serving as a trusted resource to surgeons and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales goals and territory objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, healthcare providers, and key accounts.
  • Provide technical and clinical support for Arthrex Shoulder Arthroplasty products and procedures.
  • Attend surgical cases to support surgeons and operating room staff with product application and usage.
  • Develop and execute territory business plans and sales strategies to drive growth and market share.
  • Educate customers on product features, clinical benefits, and new product offerings.
  • Identify opportunities to expand business through crossselling and new product introductions.
  • Address customer concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing product, clinical, and sales training to maintain expertise in shoulder anatomy, arthroplasty procedures, and Arthrex technologies.
  • Collect market intelligence and stay informed on industry, customer, and competitive trends.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies, industry regulations, and ethical business practices.
  • Attend sales meetings, training programs, and professional events as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Required:

    Minimum of 3 years of orthopedic industry experience; shoulder arthroplasty experience
  • Strong understanding of orthopedic procedures, anatomy, and operating room environments.
  • Ability to learn and communicate highly technical clinical information.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, relation shipbuilding, and organizational skills.
  • Self motivated with a strong sense of urgency and a results driven mindset.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Physical & Work Environment

This position requires frequent travel throughout the territory, regular presence in operating room environments, and the ability to lift and transport instrumentation and equipment weighing up to 35 pounds. Candidates must be comfortable working in surgical settings and interacting directly with surgeons and clinical staff.
