Sales Intern​/Co-op

Duro-Last Roofing, the world’s largest manufacturer of prefabricated roofing systems, has an opening for a Sales Intern at their Saginaw, MI headquarters. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a High School Diploma or equivalent along with experience in customer service. This is an in‑office co‑op position.

• Frequent contact and support via phone with Duro-Last customers and associates, assisting with order management
• Become well‑versed in presenting all Duro-Last product line offerings
• Provide all levels of sales support to in‑field Sales Representatives and in‑office Sales Coordinators to keep them focused on selling
• Pre‑qualify leads for the territory and disperse them to the appropriate Sales Rep.
• Gather data and create reports to aid in territory management
• Other duties as assigned

• Use various lead websites to find projects to bid and disperse to the proper sales team
• Update sales lead information and manage CRM
• Attend and contribute during sales meetings, offering insight of improvements that can be made
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Seeking college degree

• Management/Sales/Marketing/Communications or similar

• 1-3 years sales or customer service experience

• Microsoft Office/Google products

• Ability to use company vehicle to run errands (10% - 20%)

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities
• Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Multi‑task and prioritize objectives based on level of importance
