PIRTEK, the nation’s leading provider for on-site hydraulic and industrial hose replacement, is hiring for the position of Hose Installation Mechanic. PIRTEK is looking to hire a Hose Installation Mechanic to service, assemble and install hoses for a diverse customer base such as manufacturing, construction, rental companies, etc. We are looking for applicants with a strong customer service mindset, outstanding hands-on mechanical experience and excellent communication skills.

As a PIRTEK Hose Installation Mechanic, you will operate out of a purpose-built mobile hose workshop/van and carry out service calls in the local area. This provides the opportunity to develop relationships with new and existing customers. Successful candidates will be trained to operate a purpose-built PIRTEK service van fitted with specialized equipment designed to fabricate flexible hose assemblies on site.

• Service, assemble and install hoses for a diverse customer base
• Carry out service calls in the local area (Auburn Hills and vicinity)
• Maintain relationships with existing customers
• Develop new business and relationships with new customers
• Be available to take jobs on call 24/7, one week out of 4 minimum

• High School Diploma or GED
• Mechanically inclined; hands-on experience in auto repair, off-road vehicle repair or machinery repair
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude & self-motivated
• Strong organization and planning skills
• Clean driving record

Compensation: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus overtime; monthly bonus based on revenue generated. Health care benefits and certified training. Company vehicle may be provided if commuting.
