Maintenance Technician – Duro-Last Roofing (Saginaw, Michigan)

Duro-Last Roofing, the world’s largest manufacturer of prefabricated roofing systems, has an opening for a Maintenance Technician at its facility in Saginaw, Michigan. This full‑time position reports to the Maintenance/Facilities Manager, Stephen Mitchell. Ideal candidates have industrial plant maintenance or electrical experience and are mechanically inclined with initiative to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools to complete tasks as assigned.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery.
• Maintain facility and associated equipment.
• Work with maintenance vendors.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Complete and submit company purchase requisitions.
• Install equipment and electrical components and test to ensure proper functioning.
• Ensure all machinery follows federal, state, and company safety standards.

• 3‑5 years of industrial plant maintenance or electrical experience.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and operations manuals.
• Experience with industrial controls.
• Mechanically inclined and able to perform physical labor, lift, and operate machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints and experience with fabrication.
• Excellent safety and attendance record.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
• Self‑motivated and able to multi‑task.
• High attention to detail and exceptionally organized.
• Initiative and ability to work in a team and individually.
