Class A CDL Regional Driver - CDL Graduates OK

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport and deliver 53' dry van freight within the North Central regional lanes.
• Perform 100% no-touch deliveries and maintain accurate transport documentation.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and company safety regulations and procedures.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with dispatch, customers, and other stakeholders as required.

• Running lanes:
  Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana.
• Freight type: 100% no-touch dry van.
• Training: OTR training with a trainer/mentor for 4–6 weeks for drivers with under six months’ experience.
• Typical home time:
  Home for the 34-hour reset; most runs keep drivers within approximately 400 miles of home and drivers are often home weekly.
• Average miles:
  Approximately 1,600–2,000 miles per week.

• Estimated weekly earnings: $1,100–$1,500 (dependent on miles and experience).
• Pay per mile: $0.56–$0.64 per mile, based on experience.
• Trainee pay: $650 per week for 4–6 weeks for drivers with under six months’ experience.
• Stop pay: $15 per stop.
• Safety bonus: $0.06 per mile (paid monthly) for meeting safety and fuel-efficiency criteria.
• Full benefits after 30 days, including medical, dental, 401(k), and paid time off.

• Graduated from an accredited truck driving school with a minimum of 120 hours of instruction.
• Minimum age 21 with a valid Class A CDL.
• Fairly clean driving record with no major accidents, major citations, or license suspensions within the past five years.
• Not terminated from most recent employment for safety-related reasons.
• No DUI convictions; convictions for certain felonies or misdemeanors within the past five years may disqualify. All criminal offenses will be reviewed as part of the safety assessment.
• Demonstrated stable work history over the past 10 years with no major gaps in employment (generally at least six months employment in the last year and one year in the last three years).
• Ability to pass both urine and hair pre-employment drug screens.
