Cleaner​/Housekeeper

Fuel City is seeking dependable, hardworking, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Store Cleaners. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the store, customer areas, and restrooms while supporting a positive customer experience. Store Cleaners play an important role in ensuring the facility remains safe, welcoming, and operational throughout the day.

Our stores operate 24/7 and offer flexible scheduling opportunities, including overnight shifts with premium pay opportunities.

• Area Cleaning
  • Clean and maintain sales floors and customer areas
  • Maintain restroom cleanliness and restroom supply levels
  • Empty, clean, and straighten inside trash cans throughout the facility
  • Restock cleaning and sanitation supplies as needed
  • Assist team members during peak business hours
  • Maintain cleanliness standards throughout the store and surrounding work areas
  • Follow company cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Support overall store presentation and appearance standards
• Customer Service
  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Promote a welcoming and positive environment for guests
  • Assist customers with general questions when needed
  • Contribute to achieving strong Secret Shop scores through cleanliness, friendliness, and customer engagement
  • Maintain a professional and service-oriented attitude throughout the shift

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous janitorial, housekeeping, cleaning, or customer service experience preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Comfortable performing repetitive cleaning tasks
• Ability to work with cleaning products and sanitation supplies
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors as needed

$/hour depending on shift and experience
