We are currently looking for the right Retail Assistant Store Manager to join our Team!

$13.00 to $19.00 per hour with an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process! Retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $12.31 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager with a minimum of six months of management/3rd key experience. Assistant Store Managers are accountable for the day‑to‑day operations of the store and must promote a positive, productive environment. The role partners with the Store Manager to lead and develop store employees, recruit and retain top talent, maximize financial goals, and manage Customer Relations / Customer Satisfaction.

This position sets the tone for a customer‑centric environment.

Alongside the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager analyzes store financial statements to ensure financial goals are met, commits to the company’s asset protection program, promotes our business, and targets new customer acquisitions. All employees work with jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in licensed locations), and more.

This position offers an hourly wage, with Assistant Store Managers earning commission based on productivity and a bonus based on store performance. Actual pay will be a function of location, qualification, and experience.

• Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues.
• Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
• Recruit top talent through company‑prescribed channels.
• Open and close the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise, and ensure procedures protect assets.
• Ensure asset protection through inventory control, property safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans.
• Administer processes and procedures within the store, including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, store systems, and enterprise‑level reporting.
• Evaluate the store’s financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting.
• Ensure operating standards meet or exceed First Cash standards.
• Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to ensure the value and integrity of all loans issued.
• Complete assigned tasks and training for self‑development as requested.
• Communicate clearly with employees to ensure they understand the store’s mission and profit objectives.
• Remain up‑to‑date on product knowledge.
• Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
