As an administrative assistant, you help carry out administrative activities for your sector. You provide administrative and secretarial support to a vice‑president and to other members of the unit as needed. You actively coordinate, plan, and prioritize the unit’s management activities, interacting with many stakeholders and making independent decisions to fulfill your superior’s administrative needs. Effective communication tailored to each situation is essential.
More specifically, you will be required to:
- Carry out secretarial tasks (draft, revise, update, and format documents for various departments, etc.)
- Carry out internal administrative tasks (sales tracking, dashboards, expense reports, inventory management, performance reviews, etc.)
- Help your superior manage their agenda, mail, emails, and phone calls
- Coordinate the preparation of deliverables for decision‑making bodies
- Plan and attend management committee and other meetings; draft reports and minutes and follow up as needed
- Handle the unit's budget process; carry out budget preparation activities and identify and explain variances

- College diploma in a related field
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience (other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered)
- Mastery of French, both spoken and written
- Availability to work in the evening for representation‑related events (Board of Directors, committee meetings, associative‑life representation)
