Finance Project Manager – St‑BrunoThis is more than a finance role; it’s an opportunity to be a key architect in the success of high‑stakes, multi‑million‑dollar projects within a rapidly evolving field.
Your Future RoleAs a leader of financial strategy, you won’t just report on numbers—you’ll drive them. You will take full ownership of Project Financial KPIs (Cash, Sales, and Margin), turning complex data into actionable insights. By identifying risks and capturing opportunities, you will be the primary voice ensuring management stays ahead of the curve.
Day‑to‑day, you’re acting as a vital bridge between Project Management, Engineering, and Procurement. Working alongside a team of dedicated professionals in a fast‑paced, multi‑site environment to provide the financial oversight necessary to keep massive infrastructure projects on track.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a business partner to provide finance advice, guidance, and tutoring to the core project team.
- Forecast, challenge, and approve Project Financial KPIs.
- Control the project gross margin through detailed reviews.
- Communicate with stakeholders to provide reliable business cases.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, especially for tax and statutory accounts purposes.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in project control, specifically within the lifecycle of long‑term, complex projects.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or similar.
- Knowledge of project accounting and project performance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, SAP (nice to have) or equivalent financial software & planning tools.
- Bilingualism in French and English.
- CPA certification is an asset.
