Position: Geologist - Exploration Support at Axis Geoscience

Axis Geoscience Ltd. is looking for a proactive Geologist to provide exploration support through field programs, geological mapping, and sample management across Canada. Your skills are vital for successful operations in remote environments.

This field-based role requires planning and executing various geological exploration tasks, including supervising drill campaigns and gathering geological data. You’ll maintain accurate records, ensure QA/QC, and communicate effectively with diverse project teams to drive exploration initiatives forward. Flexibility and independent judgment are crucial for success in this dynamic field role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan field programs for geological exploration

• Oversee drill operations and sampling procedures

• Collect and validate geological information

• Maintain comprehensive records and document findings

• Contribute to QA/QC and technical reporting efforts

Requirements:

• Field experience in geological mapping and prospecting

• Familiarity with drill supervision and sample handling

• Knowledge of geochemistry and geophysical targeting

• Proficiency in geological software like QGIS or ArcGIS
