Day Shift position ; schedules available : 4x3 - 5x2 - 7x7 - 14x14

Hourly rate: up to $47.01/hour depending on experience

Your role :

Analyze breakdowns and failures, assess the nature of the repairs, with a view to carrying out repairs where necessary.

Produce a clear and complete repair report, finding the cause of failure for each problem
encountered.

Order parts required for repairs.

Adjust, repair and/or replace defective parts using hand or power tools.

Test repaired equipment to ensure that it works and that repairs comply with manufacturer's requirements.

Clean, lubricate equipment and perform routine maintenance.

Respect established repair times.

Notify immediate supervisor and/or customer of all repairs required on units.

Work in a safe manner.

Clean work area and maintain shop equipment in good condition.

Follow Service Department policies and procedures.

Attend training sessions as required.

When work is completed, sign work order to authorize billing, credit unused parts and assemble all required documents: external purchase, etc., and forward to supervisor.

Must always evaluate the impact of discussions with customers on the performance of products sold by
SMS Equipment.

Assemble machines as required.

Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

What you bring :

The successful candidate will possess a Heavy Equipment Technician Certification. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Minimum 5 years experience,

Autonomous

Resourceful

Conscientious in his work

Good manual dexterity

Valid driver's license
