As a Mechanic, you will work within the Residual Material Management team, focusing on diagnosing issues, repairing equipment, and documenting all related activities meticulously. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring a steady supply of spare parts and conducting training sessions for junior mechanics. Emphasizing safety and adherence to environmental standards will be crucial to your work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain heavy machinery and light-duty vehicles

• Keep meticulous records of maintenance and repairs

• Compile lists for spare parts and consumables

• Conduct training for junior staff members

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols during operations

Requirements:

• Certificate in heavy equipment and light-duty mechanics

• Valid driver’s license

• 3-5 years of professional experience in mechanics

• Flexibility to work with Microsoft Office tools and in different languages (Inuktitut, English, French)

• Availability for travel within the Nunavik region
