Mill Operations Laborer

POSITION OVERVIEW

Entry level position works with hand tools and small equipment to maintain the mill and surrounding area.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Work safely around moving equipment while using required safety equipment.
• Use of hand shovel.
• Use of general hand tools.
• Assist in all clean up throughout property as required.
• Use of small front end loader for cleanup when needed.
• Various duties as assigned.
• Trained on forklifts
• Other duties assigned

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Must be able to work in areas that are loud, dusty, wet and cramped.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts (nights and days).
• Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructional and procedural manuals.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current, valid driver's license.
