Entry Level Service Advisor​/Loaner-Rental Coordinator

Haddad Subaru of St. Albans is growing, and we're looking for the right person to join our Service team. This is an entry-level position with the opportunity to learn, grow, and advance within the dealership. Automotive experience is a plus, but it is not required. We are willing to train someone who is dependable, organized, enjoys working with people, and wants to build a career in the automotive industry.

• Assisting Service Advisors with checking in customers, especially during busy morning hours
• Preparing and managing loaner vehicle paperwork
• Providing coverage for Service Advisors on their scheduled days off
• Assisting with internal repair orders for our Sales and Service departments
• Working closely with Service Advisors, Technicians, Sales staff, and management
• Helping make sure our customers receive a great experience from the time they arrive until their vehicle is ready

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Someone who is dependable and works well as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills
• Dealership or automotive experience is a plus, but not required
• Previous Service Advisor experience is a plus

Qualifications

• Being able to master all aspects of the Service Coordinator job description
• Ability to lead the department by example
• Becoming an expert with the Service CRM software

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of two years customer service experience normally obtained as Service Client Care Coordinator or similar position
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

Valid Driver's License

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear
• The employee is occasionally required to walk, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and smell

Mental & Visual Demands

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
• Work performed by this position requires moderate mental concentration to effectively execute moderately complex service tasks

Work Environment

• Work is primarily performed in an office environment. However, while performing the duties of this job within service shop environment, the employee may be exposed to moderate noise
