Hiring for two positions starting on Tuesday, August 18, 2026. 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. 60‑working‑day probationary wage range $23.73–$28.08 per hour; after probation hourly rate $24.07–$28.76 per hour.
Job DescriptionHead Start is a federally funded, national child and family development program that provides services for children from birth to age five and their families. The program promotes school readiness through early education, health, nutrition, mental health, and services for children with special needs.
As an Early Head Start Toddler Teacher, you will co‑teach in a team environment, creating a safe, healthy, friendly, and developmentally appropriate classroom for infants and toddlers. You will support children’s learning outcomes, foster positive relationships with families, and engage in comprehensive assessment and curriculum planning.
Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; infant‑toddler specific education and experience that meets or exceeds the requirements for an Infant Toddler CDA Credential; knowledge and experience in developmentally appropriate early childhood practice, child outcome assessment, child behavior management, and curriculum planning, development and implementation; a commitment to social justice and working with families with limited financial resources;
excellent verbal and written communication (bilingual abilities a plus); documentation and record‑keeping skills; valid driver’s license, clean driving record and access to reliable transportation; physical ability to carry out required tasks.Bachelor degree preferred.
Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
