Location:
St. Albans, Vermont
Our Early Childhood Program is seeking a Level 2 Para educator. Paraeducators provide instructional and/or personal support services to students under the direct supervision of a licensed Educator. Preference is given to individuals with experience implementing academic programming and behavior intervention plans.
Responsibilities- Provide instructional and/or personal support services to students under the direct supervision of a licensed Educator.
- Assist in implementing academic programming and behavior intervention plans.
- High degree of interpersonal and communication skills, acute attention to detail, flexibility and adaptability.
- H.S. graduate or equivalent.
- Must meet highly qualified status: holding an Associate Degree, having 60 or more college level credits, or completing an approved test.
- Knowledge of principles and methods for teaching.
- Preferred:
One or more years of successful experience with special needs students. - Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Associate degree preferred.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
Salary: $19 to $24 Per Hour. Position Type:
Full-time.
