Operations Manager
Background & Purpose of the Job
The role is to lead and execute capital projects within dairy manufacturing operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with safety, quality, and sustainability standards.
Key Responsibilities- Project Leadership:
Manage end-to-end execution of industrial projects, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. - Stakeholder
Collaboration:
Work closely with engineering, operations, quality, and procurement teams to ensure seamless project integration. - Compliance & Standards:
Ensure adherence to food safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies. - Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines and cost targets. - Continuous Improvement:
Drive innovation and efficiency in project delivery, leveraging best practices and emerging technologies. - Leadership & Decision Making:
Manage improvement projects in a fast-moving environment with many stakeholders. - Cross-Plant
Collaboration:
Participate in cross-plant improvement teams and support root cause analysis on process and utilities issues. - Change Leadership:
Champion new ways of working, deliver value, and uphold core values.

- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management preferred, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing industrial or capital projects in food or dairy manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of dairy processing systems, utilities, and plant infrastructure.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (PMP certification is a plus).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

The pay range for this position is $88,600 to $133,000. The company considers a wide range of factors including skill set, experience, certifications, and business needs.
BonusThis position is bonus eligible.
