This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Field Operations (OFO). You will provide guidance and technical advice in a variety of mission support functional afeas for a Field Office or Port of Entry.
This position starts at a salary of $51,490.00 (GS-07, Step
1) to $81,882.00 (GS-09, Step 10) with promotion potential to $99,069.00 (GS-11 Step 10). GS Salary:

Analyzing complex administrative issues and recommending solutions to improve operational effectiveness. Planning and executing projects and studies to enhance mission support services and achieve organizational goals. Interpreting laws, regulations, and policies to resolve challenges and ensure program compliance. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate activities and implement process improvements. Preparing reports, guidance, and recommendations to support management decision-making and continuous improvement.

Experience:
You qualify for the GS-7 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as:
- Collecting and reviewing information to support routine administrative tasks.
- Assisting with basic process improvements by identifying areas for increased efficiency.
- Contributing to the evaluation of how policy changes may affect office procedures.
