Key responsibilities for this role include:
* Ensure that assignments are completed on schedule following established policies and procedures.
* Guide and direct staff in production areas as directed by Supervisor.
* Monitor production output and quality of work on the line.
* Monitor and ensure proper equipment operation and all safety rules and guidelines are followed.
* Monitor work areas, ensuring appropriate cleanliness and orderly condition.
* Works in collaboration with the Lead/Technical Operator to troubleshoot process and technical line issues.
* Coordinates and oversees the work of other operators and acts as a backup to Supervisor as necessary.
* Perform training of new personnel in Production operations as necessary.
* Perform final Production review of Batch Production Records prior to Quality review/approval as necessary.
* Provides input into events or investigations including identifying potential root causes and corrective and preventative actions.
* Recommends and/or initiates procedural revisions and corresponding training modules.
* Collaborates with Supervisor, QA and Production Support on unscripted manufacturing events to assure impact on quality is evaluated and minimized.
* Collaborate with Supervisor and/or Manager to appropriately staff lines or shift personnel where necessary to meet schedule.
* Ensure all products produced or returned to inventory are properly labeled and monitor inventories.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:
* Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 0-2 years of experience
** or
* * a minimum of high school diploma and 10 years previous manufacturing experience
* At least 3 years of experience in an GMP regulated facility
* At least 3 years of leadership experience
* However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
