Job Summary
Production Worker (3rd Shift) – St Albans, VT (Union)
Pay Rate: $24.63 per hour plus $1.50 shift differential.
Hours:
11:00pm–7:30am, Sunday–Thursday.
Location:
St Albans, VT manufacturing facility.
- Perform ice‑cream production processes, including equipment setup and flavor changeovers.
- Operate within the business unit, managing quality, cost, downtime, safety and efficiency.
- Execute preventative maintenance and CIP as part of standard procedure.
- Use automated computer systems to monitor quality, efficiency and downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or quality‑related problems.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized process area.
- Lead projects and document results.
- Participate fully on the team: listen, communicate, teach, share knowledge, give feedback and work until the job is complete.
- Consistently demonstrate safe work behaviours and support company safety goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Knowledge of PPE usage (ear protection, safety glasses, hard hats, boots, gloves, face shields, uniforms).
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to read and understand product specifications.
- Ability to complete job‑related documentation.
- Basic computer skills.
- Experience with industrial‑strength cleaning chemicals for COP tasks.
- Understanding of general machine operations including LOTO, basic troubleshooting and light lubrication.
- Ability to create, write and deliver training for specific positions.
- Exposure to allergens such as dairy, eggs, tree nuts, coconut, peanuts, wheat (gluten), soybean and cinnamon.
- Willingness to work on the manufacturing floor and handle mechanical operations and caustic solutions.
