Position SummaryJoin the Nutra Blend team, a leader in manufacturing and distributing vitamins, trace minerals, micro-ingredients, and premixes for the animal feed industry. As a Production Operator, you will play a key role in manufacturing high-quality products by operating equipment, handling materials, packaging finished goods, and supporting daily production operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate production equipment and perform manufacturing processes safely and efficiently.
- Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Package and prepare finished products according to specifications.
- Monitor production processes and report any issues to leadership.
- Accurately complete production records and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members, leads, and supervisors to achieve production goals.
- Support continuous improvement efforts and adapt to changing production needs.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in any industry.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn new processes and equipment.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand and work throughout the entire shift.
- Frequent walking, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
- Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators, and other company-issued equipment.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment without climate control, including exposure to hot, cold, dusty, and chemical-related conditions.
