Quality Technician/ Inspector
This position is responsible for direct as well as indirect supervision of employees as assigned including planning, organization, implementation, and control of operations in the areas of Good Manufacturing Practices, safety, quality, processes, personnel, and training requirements
SHIFT
HOURS:
Wednesday 1:00pm - 7:15pm and Thursday Friday and Saturday 7:00am - 7:15pm with flexibility
Key responsibilities include:

- Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules and expedite workflow
- Assign duties and monitor work through team leaders for employee adherence to company policies, safety standards, and GMPs
- Assist Team Leaders in trouble shooting, analyzing and resolving work problems
- Conform and maintain food and employee safety regulatory requirements
- Train new regular and temporary employees
- Keep and prepare all departmental reports as needed
- Fill in for Warehouse Manager as needed
- High school diploma or GED
- A minimum of two years of appropriate supervisory experience
- Must be proficient in all warehouse positions
- Forklift, Handcart, Hi-Racker licenses (Barry Callebaut issued)
- Computer skills- must have SAP knowledge, must be able to work in Windows environment, Word, and Excel
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Ability to stand on concrete floor for long periods of time
- Bend, squat, stretching, reaching, frequently
- Ability to climb stairs, often
- Must be able to lift minimum of 50lbs
- Long periods of computer usage; finger dexterity and hand movement for use of keyboard and mouse, repetitive motion
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the facility
- Noise level can exceed .85 decibels
