Job Overview

The Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity (CVOEO) seeks a Coordinated Entry (CE) Specialist who will work to ensure that persons experiencing homelessness in our area receive consistent, appropriate, and equal access to available housing resources. Coordinated Entry is a coordinated multi‑agency system of intake, assessment, prioritization, and referral for people experiencing housing crises. The position completes standardized intakes and assessments and makes referrals to services for people experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk of homelessness.

The CE Specialist serves as the liaison to the CE system for community partners and consumers.

• Complete standardized intake and assessment forms for clients experiencing homelessness.
• Prioritize cases and refer clients to appropriate housing and supportive services.
• Serve as liaison to the Coordinated Entry system for community partners and consumers.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions and referrals.

• Detail‑oriented individual who can relate to others in a positive, confidential, and non‑judgmental way.
• Experience developing and maintaining organizational systems.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.

Salary: $22.67 – $25.39 / hour
