Customer Service Assistant

Role:
Full‑time, four days on site per week.

• Process domestic and international sales orders received via email or EDI daily and provide excellent customer service.
• Resolve sales order queries, liaise with customers to resolve issues, and escalating when necessary.
• Advise sales account managers of customer shortages.
• Maintain close relationships with the Inventory team and 3PL to ensure stock availability and help achieve service level targets.
• Ensure all orders are routed and outbound deliveries are transmitted to 3PL for dispatch.
• Monitor and fix SAP idoc errors daily.
• Participate in and contribute to weekly team meetings.
• Review operational performance on Vendor Central for Amazon.
• Work closely with Finance Team & 3PL to set up new accounts, pricing, Ship‑To records and other Customer Master Data in SAP.
• Investigate and raise credit notes against customer claims.
• Raise export documentation as necessary.
• Perform any other duties reasonably requested to meet business needs.

• Numerical reasoning and analytical ability.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• 2 years FMCG experience ideally within the food industry.
• Intermediate IT skills including Excel.
• SAP experience would be advantageous.
• Maintain a professional and constructive relationship with customers.
• Right‑to‑Work within the UK (no sponsorship).
• Minimum education to bachelor’s degree level.
