Technical OperatorRole Overview
Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference, and the Technical Operator role will make an impact by optimizing equipment performance and ensuring compliance with SOPs.
Key Responsibilities- Performs and verifies all equipment‑related set‑up activities, ensuring procedures are followed.
- Ensures use of appropriate product‑dedicated equipment, kits, tooling, idlers, etc. for the process.
- Maintains clean and ready process equipment and change parts according to procedure.
- Performs system‑related checks, sensor checks, startup/shift tests, and ensures results meet specifications.
- Monitors run performance using CPPs, KPPs, in‑process quality checks, yields, and overall run efficiencies to identify trends or failures.
- Responds to equipment faults, alarms, jams, identifies causes, and implements remedial actions.
- Leads equipment problem‑solving with Lead Operator and support groups, ensuring resolution and return to operating conditions.
- Assists with equipment PMs and calibrations as needed.
- Participates in defining user requirements for new systems, aids IQ/OQ/PQ, and supports creation/review of technical instructions and training documents.
- Provides oversight of training on technical‑related tasks on the production lines.
- Provides technical input during routine equipment/system issue investigations, root‑cause analysis, and CAPA support.
- Works with Engineering Production Support and QA Validation on recommendation, implementation, and qualification of equipment/controls improvements.
- Participates in execution of technical studies as required.
- Supports other duties aligned with current training, potentially serving as backup to Senior or Lead Operator roles.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience and a High School diploma (or equivalent) required.
- Technical degree/certification and three (3) years of relevant experience preferred; combined experience and/or education considered.
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Salary range: $37,000.00 – $80,000.00 USD.
