Part Time Merchandiser Charleston

Pay Range: $16.87 plus mileage reimbursement

Approximate Start Time: 5:30 AM

Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays (weekends & holidays) required

Position Type: Part Time Merchandiser

The Merchandiser is responsible for presenting products in a way that attracts consumers at retail locations. The role supports and maintains multiple bulk accounts by merchandising approved products and packages, following safety and quality guidelines, and communicating with store management and cross‑functional personnel.

• Fill, merchandise, and rotate products on display and shelves according to procedures and special programs.
• Physically move products from the backroom to display.
• Create and distribute point‑of‑sale materials on display and shelves where permitted; rotate product.
• Operate Fastlane merchandisers and vendors; ensure proper operation.
• Organize and maintain the back room by stacking and arranging product, removing empty pallets and shells, and returning damaged or out‑of‑date product to the branch.
• Develop business relationships with store personnel through routine follow‑up, proactive pricing, and promotion of new opportunities.

• Effective communication skills (listening, speaking, and writing).
• Prior customer service experience in a retail setting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to satisfy diverse customer needs.
• Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment, lifting up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Ability to work reliably and independently with little supervision.
• Critical thinking skills.
• Company‑provided cell phone.

• Valid in‑state driver’s license.
• Excellent driving history.
• Proof of insurance policy confirming coverage of at least $50,000 per person / $100,000 per accident with a deductible of $500 or less.

The work environment includes exposure to weather conditions, coolers, and customer storage areas that may not be temperature controlled.
