Traveling Retail Merchandiser

The Retail Odyssey Company is seeking a Traveling Retail Merchandiser to execute in-store merchandising for leading CPG brands and major retailers. In this field-based role, you will travel to assigned stores to set and reset planograms, install displays and signage, audit on-shelf availability, and optimize product presentation to drive sales. You'll use mobile tools to capture data and photos, partner closely with store teams, and deliver on fast-paced, performance-driven objectives.

Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned retail locations to execute scheduled merchandising visits
• Implement and reset planograms, sets, and product layouts to client standards
• Install, maintain, and remove in-store displays, signage, and promotional materials
• Conduct on-shelf availability checks, audits, and basic inventory counts
• Capture data, photos, and visit notes using mobile reporting tools
• Build relationships with store management and staff to support program success
• Ensure product compliance, correct tagging, and pricing at shelf
• Troubleshoot in-store execution issues and escalate as needed
• Prioritize and manage daily/weekly routes to meet deadlines and KPIs
• Adhere to safety, quality, and brand guidelines while representing The Retail Odyssey Company
