The Used Car Director & Assistant Used Car Director
Summary:
Acquisition Specialists are customer facing, coordinating the acquisition process from start to finish. Using proprietary software, they search the region for target vehicles, communicate with prospective sellers, appraise and present offer to purchase. Assumes responsibility for direct-from-consumer acquisition, vehicle appraisals, seller communication, and acquisition paperwork.
Responsibilities of the Inventory Acquisition Specialist:- Utilize Vincue software to filter and target vehicles for acquisition.
- Gather customer information such as contact info, phone number, email, etc.
- Act as point of contact and resource for customer questions and requests in the appraisal process.
- Utilize Vincue software and customer information to put together an initial appraisal on target vehicles.
- Perform “sight unseen” appraisals.
- If necessary, travel to customer to complete an appraisal.
- Work with Used Car Directors to set acquisition goals each month.
- Implement acquisition plan to acquire target vehicles for specific locations.
