Job Description

Project Manager - 50-52k, Fife

Hybrid Working, 3 days in the office, 2 days from home

Role Overview

Manage a portfolio of technology projects that support organisational strategic objectives. Work closely with internal technology teams, business stakeholders, and external suppliers to deliver projects successfully while promoting effective project management, governance, and business readiness practices. Contribute to the continuous improvement of change and project delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver multiple technology projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring delivery to agreed time, budget, and quality standards.
  • Define project scope, objectives, delivery approach, and implementation plans.
  • Coordinate activities across technical teams, business stakeholders, suppliers, and change management functions.
  • Manage project schedules, dependencies, risks, issues, resources, and budgets.
  • Produce and maintain project documentation, governance artefacts, and status reporting.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and provide clear communication to project sponsors and leadership.
  • Support portfolio reporting and ensure compliance with organisational governance frameworks.
  • Work with business analysts and stakeholders to define project benefits, manage scope, and support successful business adoption.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience delivering IT or technology projects from initiation to completion.
  • Strong project planning, organisation, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • Experience managing project risks, budgets, resources, and dependencies.
  • Ability to work effectively in changing environments and prioritise competing demands.
  • Understanding of project governance, reporting, and change management principles.
  • Ability to work pragmatically where requirements or priorities may evolve while maintaining focus on project objectives and business outcomes.
