Location: St. Ann
Support Staff – Paraprofessional II – Bridgeway Elementary –
This Teacher‑Assistant/Paraprofessional II position is a 9‑month (approximately 9.5 months) role, 7 hours per day at 87.5% effort, Monday through Friday. The position becomes available on 08/11/2026 and is open until 06/01/2026 or until filled.
Qualifications- Ability to organize and prepare classroom lessons and materials.
- Thorough knowledge of teaching methods, techniques, and procedures.
- Desire to work with and educate children.
- Ability to motivate others, be creative, flexible, and patient.
- Must meet one of the following requirements:
- Obtain 60 college credit hours
- Have passed the Para Pro Assessment (before September 23, 2013)
- Have passed the Paraprofessional Assessment through Pearson (September 23, 2013 through June 20, 2024)
- Have passed the Para Pro Assessment through ETS (July 1, 2024 onward)
- Completed the 20‑hour Substitute Certificate Course
