Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented IT Manager - Network Operations.
Do you have experience leading network infrastructure teams and managing complex WAN and data center environments using Cisco, Palo Alto, and other enterprise network tools?
What You Will Be Doing:As an IT Manager within the Network Operations team, you will oversee the daily supervision of network engineers and ensure seamless support for enterprise-wide network infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams and senior management to align network strategies with organizational goals. You will be responsible for managing multi‑data center operations across different regions, overseeing incident resolution, and leading large‑scale network projects.
Additionally, you will drive operational excellence by improving processes, monitoring performance metrics, and supporting cloud networking initiatives. This position is a full‑time role with a hybrid work schedule based in St. Louis, Missouri.
- Lead and supervise a team of network engineers, ensuring 24/7 support and optimal team performance.
- Coordinate with senior management and IT teams to align network operations with business objectives.
- Oversee network infrastructure across data centres and branch locations, managing Cisco IOS, Arista, Nexus devices, and firewalls.
- Manage WAN connectivity for corporate campuses and thousands of branch offices, including routers and access points.
- Oversee resolution of network break/fix issues, act as escalation point for outages, and partner with third‑party providers.
- Lead and coordinate large network projects from planning through execution.
- Identify and implement opportunities for operational improvements, including automation and monitoring initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with SLAs and monitor performance metrics to optimize network availability.
Skills & Experience:
- 6+ years of related experience managing enterprise network environments.
- Ability to work 4 pm CST to 1 am CST.
- Proven experience leading and mentoring network teams within complex environments.
- Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, cloud, and broadband technologies such as VPN, DHCP, DNS, VLANs.
- Familiarity with networking protocols including TCP/IP, SNMP/RMON, and RDP.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, using Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Must reside in or near St. Louis, Missouri.
- Commitment to incorporating security best practices into all decisions and actions.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
- 2+ years of leadership experience including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud services.
- Understanding of core networking concepts beyond basic protocols.
- Experience with network automation and enterprise monitoring tools.
