Location: St. Ann

Overview

An experienced Quality Technician| Machine Operator will work with engineering and supporting management to report technical and digital data with measuring equipment including Zeiss Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). The Quality Technician is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to Quality Control to assure the quality and integrity of Company products. This position requires advanced knowledge of GD&T. This position may include performing receiving and in-process inspection of manufactured parts and assemblies utilizing standard measurement and test equipment with result entry for the documentation of inspection records, identification, and control of nonconforming material.

Responsibilities
  • Perform receiving and in-process inspection of manufactured parts and assemblies using standard measurement and test equipment; enter results for documentation of inspection records.
  • Operate and program measuring equipment, including Zeiss CMM; create complex CMM programs.
  • Identify, document, and control nonconforming material; ensure quality data integrity.
  • Collaborate with engineering and management to report technical data and support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma with at least three years of experience in an industrial environment
  • Ability to create complex CMM programs
  • Experience in a quality lab environment with efficient use of hand measuring tools and open granite setups
  • Proficiency in micrometers, calipers, and other measuring equipment
  • Strong practical knowledge of GD&T
  • Experience with computer software and databases such as Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
